At
these temperatures, it only takes a vine tendril five hours and
29 minutes to wrap itself around a trellis wire or, if you stand
there long enough, around your neck. After an uncertain
and very cold winter the vines are now growing at top speed,
they love the heat (especially Grenache), and they have set a
generous amount of fruit. It’s more than enough to
keep Team Edward Sellers busy throughout the summer and fall. We’ve
finalized the blends for the ’06 wines, and we’re
about to release the first of the ’05 vintage to Ed’s
Cellar Club. With all of this going on – blending,
packing, shipping, planning, and our new tasting room in downtown
Paso Robles – I don’t suppose we need to worry about
standing still long enough to be choked by a tendril. – Amy

First Annual Fall Harvest
Wine Dinner
We are in the heat of summer, and I mean the heat, but our Fall
Harvest Festival is only a few months away. To celebrate
this year’s harvest we are having our first Harvest Wine
Dinner at the fabulous Bistro Laurent, in downtown Paso Robles. Now
celebrating 10 years in business, Bistro Laurent has become one
of our towns most popular and requested restaurants and we have
it for Saturday, October 20th, at 6:30 PM. Chef Laurent
Grangien will pair six of our wines with dishes that will be
out of this world in celebration of our successful 2007 Paso
Robles Harvest. Seating for this event is limited to the
first 30 people who confirm for this once a year experience. To
